A homage to Moria and the old roguelikes (Rogue, Hack, NetHack, Angband), set in Sumerian myth.

You start in Eridu, the first city, and go down: ten levels through the underworld, from the reed marsh at 50 ft to the Abzu at 500 ft, where Enki waits.

It plays like the originals. The @ is you; every other letter is a monster, an item or a wall. The world takes a turn when you do. Fight, find better gear, buy and sell in town, bank your gold, and come back up when it goes badly. A dead hero stays dead, but their heir keeps the family home, some gold and some training.

Play as a warrior or an āšipu (an exorcist who learns incantations), a starting kit, a personal god if you want one, and a name. Warriors specialize in physical weapons; āšipus with wands.

NEW

There's a lot more. Dogs to tame, secrets to find; win and start again for your heirs, and go to the Kigal, the Great Below: an endless descent under the Abzu.

Controls. Arrow keys, hjkl or the numpad to move and attack; Shift to run; > and < for stairs; i for your pack; W to ready a launcher or wand; f to fire; ? for help. Click or tap to travel. On a phone you get a movement pad, large shop rows and action buttons.

Accessible. If it's missing somethign, let me know; it should be pretty set up.

Free, no account. It saves in your browser, with five more slots on the title page; export a named backup file from Settings to keep another copy or carry the family to a different browser. MIT licensed.
